Human-Demons version 1.6 - Hexen compatibility update
This version of the Human-Demons is now compatible with Hexen! Not only that, we also added brand new demons in the enemy roster for Doom/Heretic Gameplay.
New Enemies
Doom:
Doom Hunter: Replaces Brutal Doom Juggernaut.
Meanie-seized tanks and helicopters: Replaces Zombie-seized tanks and helicopters.
Imp Stalker + Nightmare Imp Stalker: Occasionally replaces Guard/Spectre Dogs.
Heretic:
Sea Turtle: replaces Hell Knights on Very Easy and Easy difficulties. Also replaces the Justice on TRUE SLAYER difficulty.
Hydra Hatchling: replaces Hell Knights on Hard or higher
Hydra: replaces Molten Mech on Hard and Nightmare difficulties.
Dragon Turtle: replaces Molten Mech on TRUE SLAYER difficulty
Couatl: replaces the Mancubus and Cacodemon on Hard or higher.
Hexen
The Demon Warrior and Imp Stalker replaces the Ettin and Slaughtaur respectively while the Dark Bishop, Korax and Heresiarch have been rebalance and have an appearance change, but there are new enemies to introduce!
Tikbalang: Replaces the Centaur, and here is the good news, he doesn't have a shield!
Fire Nightmare: Replaces the Afrit, a little harder and less annoying than the latter despite shooting only one projectile. Also appears in Heretic.
Nightmare: Cosmic denizens that hide underground, replacing the spike pillars, they either produce green dirt or just jump out.
Infernal Contraptions/Machines: Replaces the Green and Brown Chaos Serpents, the first variant shoots slightly weaker version of the Vassago's fireball, while the other variant can create a mirror of the Calamity Blade's projectiles.
Mur'gul Reavers/Marauders: Replaces the stalker and stalker boss respectively and are relatively easier than the latter. But the second variant is a little stronger and agile.
Frost Wyrm: A Death Wyvern replacement, can shoot a volley of three frost burn fireballs and has more health. Plus he no longer follows the Death Wyvern's path finding.
Ice Nightmare: Replaces the Wendigo, but unlike the former, Ice Nightmares can fly but their projectile somewhat hits hard.
Gloom Nightmare: A replacement of the Reiver, they act the same as the latter but their projectiles travel a little faster.
I wont spoil the rest and here's a tip on fighting the new Heresiarch, he wont be invincible when he charges his attack, and that's where you strike at him!
Changes
- Made the height and radius of the Mancubus and Cacodemon to match the Ophidian so they wont get stuck.
- Hell Knight and Baron fireball speed decreased in Heretic.
- Made the Attack Drone in Heretic to have the same height and radius as the Gargoyle so they wont get stuck on vents.
- Volcano vents now spawn Fire Nightmares.
- Improved the death sequence of Caco-Casters, Summoners, Arch-Popes, Pain Casters and Astral Caco-Casters.
- Mindweaver projectile speed decreased.
- Fused the Keen Replacer setting with the Boss Brain setting into a Manual Wad Checker setting.
